Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to the Queens Quarter, I experienced an intriguing blend of luxury and value. The hotel is conveniently accessible from Belfast City Airport via public transport, which is always appreciated for budget-conscious travelers. Check-in was straightforward, a relief after a long journey. My room was commendably spacious, featuring a comfortable bed and attention to cleanliness. The bathroom was well-maintained, equipped with adequate toiletries that added a touch of convenience. The inclusion of an electric kettle and access to a common fridge for snacks was a pleasant surprise, enhancing the experience for a cyclist like myself seeking sustenance after a day of exploration. It's essential to clarify that what’s labeled as a HOTEL might not align with traditional expectations. The initial confusion surrounding the entry process, where I had to contact the property for a door code, raised concerns. This could deter some guests, given the necessary communication challenges. While the hotel offers good value in terms of amenities and location, potential guests should be mindful of its distinctive operational style. An opportunity for greater clarity and improvement exists, but those willing to embrace it may find a comfortable stay.
